How much is it going to cost?

Sponsorship profiles range from a few hundred pounds, getting a square foot of exposure, to  thousands of pounds, getting the car in a corporate livery. These are intended as guidelines only and are by no means fixed or final. If a suitable sponsor were be found, there is a likelihood of the team running a second car. We would say however, that there is really no ceiling on the amount of sponsorship we would accept.

What are the benefits?

Some sponsors are closely related to the sport will get exposure to their expected customer base, for example, a firm that manufactures racing car parts will be advertising to other racers as well as aspiring racers in the audience and those who came along simply to watch.
The sponsor may be slightly less affiliated with the teams activities, a manufacturer of car parts not normally used in racing, in-car entertainment or car security, for example, would be advertising primarily to the racing audience.
The third type is that who are completely unrelated to motorsport, double glazing manufacturers, for example. It is this type who, however, are providing a larger percentage of sponsorship to modern motorsport as companies look to getting their name seen by those other than their traditional target audience.

No, I still don't see why I should sponsor Motorsport.

British motorsport is enjoying something a a resurgence currently, with Formula 1 being dominated by UK based manufacturers and with some good British drivers coming up through the ranks, there is increasing media interest in those "ranks". British rallying is immensely successful at the moment and the BTCC is world famous for its close racing and exciting events.
All of this means there is a lot more people taking part and a lot more people going to see British Motorsport than in the past. It is these people, along with thier disposable income that you should be targeting.
Lets not forget that we can do more than simply putting your name on our car, depending on the business of a sponsor, we might have a demonstration display, leaflet dispenser, even a multimedia presentation running.
We mustn't forget that having a successful racing team with your name on it is a great advert for you and your firm, not only to your prospective customers, but also to visitors to your site (webbased and geographical) and let's not forget, your suppliers. Quite simply, it looks pretty cool to be involved in British Motorsport.
