Having written an engine off at Goodwood, work was feverish to install our spare engine in time for the Silverstone testday, this year scheduled to take part after the first race, also at the Northamptonshire circuit.
The morning session went well, the team spent their time adjusting suspension settings. After some tweaks, we managed to achieve some improved lap times.
After the lunch break Mark did a few laps to warm everything up and handed over the controls to the venerable Peter Baldwin, who had promised to give a no holds barred opinion on our car. He did four laps and returned to the pits with a grin, announcing the car handled better than his own, albiet down on power.
